With a 2-1 victory over HEROIC (3-16 Nuke, 16-5 Mirage, 16-12 Inferno), CR4ZY lifted the trophy at DreamHack Open Rotterdam.
HEROIC grabbed control on Nuke right from the start, edging out the pistol round before going on a big streak and finding themselves 9-0 up on the offensive side of their map pick. CR4ZY finally got on the board thanks to Georgi "SHiPZ" Grigorov picking up a triple kill off of his aggression, and the young Bulgarian stepped up in the next round as well, clutching a 1v1 to make it 9-2.
However, HEROIC replied by splitting A through Heaven and Hut, catching the defenders off guard and once again putting CR4ZY on an eco. The Danes ended the half 13-2 up, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer claimed the pistol with a hat-trick of frags, and it was just a matter of time before HEROIC claimed the win, 16-3.

On Mirage, HEROIC once again proved deadly with the pistols, retaking the A site with ease, but losing a 2v5 advantage in the following round saw CR4ZY take the early lead. It was SHiPZ with four kills in the force buy, 12 kills in the first five rounds, that allowed the European mixture to take the advantage, 5-1. HEROIC was able to pick up sporadic rounds on the defense, but lacked composure in the mid-to-late rounds, which CR4ZY continually exploited. Late in the half, the Serbian duo Luka "emi" Vuković and Nestor "LETN1" Tanić clutched a 2v4 which pushed CR4ZY towards a 11-4 half time lead.
emi's men were quick to reach map point on the defense, following a pistol round win (15-4). CR4ZY lost one round on the defense as HEROIC pulled out a B execute, but that is where the game came to a close as Otto "ottoNd" Sihvo and Rokas "EspiranTo" Milasauskas locked down the mid hit, 16-5.
On the deciding map, HEROIC continued their pistol round dominance, running up a 5-0 T-side lead to follow it up. It was again SHiPZ who broke the deadlock for CR4ZY, aceing the opponents on Banana while using three different weapons: the AWP, the USP-S, and the SG 553. The game was contested from both sides after that, but it was CR4ZY who came out on top of the back-and-forth and broke their opponents' bank. With the economic advantage, CR4ZY managed to minimize the deficit to 7-8 before the half-time switch.
The Danish team continued their impressive pistol round record by successfully defending B, but as soon as the rifles came in, CR4ZY was able to get back on track with some confident bombsite hits, spearheaded by EspiranTo. Soon, they were 13-10 up, but then doubles from Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Snappi resulted in HEROIC stopping the bleeding, with Johannes "b0RUP" Borup claiming a quad-kill in the following round. That was not enough, though, as CR4ZY found three rounds in the row to close out the series and win DreamHack Open Rotterdam.
